This window is erected to the Glory of God and in loving remembrance of my husband, James McMorland, died March 1881; of my son James A McMorland, died November 1893; of my daughter, Isabella R. McMorland, died 1864 and of my sister, Jane R. Alexander, died June 1895, by Janet Alexander McMorland.

Mrs. McMorland of Cathkin Villa, Pollokshields, was a daughter of William Alexander, Goldsmith & Jeweller, Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
Mrs. McMorland’s husband died at Rothesay 23/3/1881. Her son died at 14, Walmer Crescent, Ibrox, 23/11/1893, aged 33 years. Her daughter seems to have died in infancy or childhood (no record). Her sister died at Cathkin Villa 20/6/1895.
