1.Sunday 14th March 2010- 11:00am Service of Admission of New Communicant and Sacrament of Holy Communion. Junior Church and Crèche. 2. Scottish Asian Christian Fellowship– As it is the first Sunday of the month, the Scottish Asian Christian Fellowship meets today at 3:30pm. 3.Hear: I AM – The first part of the new series exploring the Word together during Lent will be held on Wednesday 10th March between 11:00am and 12noon, repeated at 7:00pm – 8:00pm. This week’s theme on characters in the Holy Week story focuses on Caiaphas and the Jewish leadership. 4.Midweek Service – Our midweek service is on Wednesday 10th March. It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am 5. Coffee Break– follows the Midweek Service from 10:00am until 11.30am. On duty this week are Ella Cooper, Helen Templeton, Maeve Kinloch, Margaret Smith and Elizabeth McKissock. 6. Property Group– meets on Thursday 11th March at 7:30pm. 7. Annual Stated Meeting– This will be after our service on Sunday 28th March. Accounts and agenda available nearer the time. 8. Meet the Minister– Rev David R Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matter. Other Notices 1. The Guild – meets tomorrow, Monday 8th March at 7:30pm. The speaker is Dr John McArthur, talking on the Guild Project ‘Inter-Faith Support’. 2. Guild Coffee Morning– This is on Saturday 13th March from 10:00am – 12noon. Donations of home baking, books etc most welcome. 3. Lodging House Mission– This Easter the Lodging House Mission is notappealing for Easter eggs as they usually receive far more than they need. Instead, people are asked to donate £1.00 so that the required number of eggs can be bought and the surplus will go to the running of the Mission. Anyone who would like to give £1.00 should see Elva Carlisle. The Lodging House Mission is most grateful for all the support we give. 4. Art Sale/Music Evening– Clarkston Christian Aid Committee holds its Annual Art Exhibition and Sale in Clarkston Hall on Saturday 13th March from 10:00am – 4:00pm, while Hutchesons’ Choral society presents ‘Brassy Baroque on Sunday 14th March at 7:30pm in the Fotheringay Centre.
