This year we have committed to listening to God through a variety of meetings led by our elders, and throughout April, we invite everyone to take part at home or on holiday.

We invite you to join with us in listening to God through four specific Bible passages wherever you are and whatever else you are doing that particular week.

We are going to read four Bible passages chosen by elders. ( printed overleaf)

Week beginning April 5th read Psalm 16

( you can expand the reading by looking at other Psalms that week)

Week beginning April 12th read James ch 2 v 14-24

( or why not read the whole letter of James over the week?)

Week beginning April 19th read 1 Corinthians ch 13 v 1-13

( or try looking at it in the context of ch 12v 1 through to 14v25).

Week beginning April 26th read 1 Thessalonians 5 v 12-28

( again a look at the whole letter is possible bit by bit all week)

What is God saying to us through these passages of Scripture in 2010?

each week there will be a box available in the church to collect any comments you have on what you read be it about the reading itself; or what it said to you, or what it says about us as a church congregation.
